Largest pancake ever made
In 1994 a pancake measuring over 49 feet in diameter was made in Rochdale to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the co-operative movement. Made from simple ingredients that were sold in the first co-operative shop, the pancake weighed three tons and contained an estimated two-million calories.
