ALMO welcomes scrapping of housing revenue account

News that the National Housing Revenue Account is to be scrapped has been welcomed by ALMO Rochdale Boroughwide Housing.
Managing Director Gareth Swarbrick said:? ?RBH welcomes the Housing Minister's recent statement which on the face of it meets all the ALMO sectors key lobbying points regarding reform of the national housing finance system.
?We are obviously looking forward to seeing the long awaited consultation paper to look at the detail as to how existing debt will be redistributed and the timetable for the full changes being implemented."
