Agency Sought
Ethos public relations was established almost 10 years ago and over that time we have grown every year. Growth has been achieved by winning new clients, producing new publications and even by merger. Pride in what we have achieved and what we know we can do for our clients is important for us and we want to expand yet further.
If you are a principal in a successful PR business maybe you would like to talk to us about how we could develop our businesses together? Ideally, your agency would be similar to ours; successful, with a track record of excellent account management and the ability to benefit from economies of scale.

It's official! New publication comes to Ethos

Manchester city centre based Ethos public relations has been chosen to produce a regular members' newsletter for national trade union, NACO.
The Co-operative Official advises NACO members of issues affecting them and keeps them informed of developments at the Association.
This is the latest in a long line of new business wins for Ethos public relations and adds to its growing client base for publications.
Julie Longton of Ethos public relations said: "We see internal publications as one of the key ways organisations can get their message across. Having produced magazines for a variety of clients including a housing association, charity and laser clinic, we know just how effective this type of communication really is for organisations to keep in touch with their employees or members."
And despite living in the Internet Age, it seems that customers and clients still prefer a hard copy of their company's news and information.
Neil Buist, General Secretary of NACO, said: "In a recent survey of trade union members, conducted by Electoral Reform Services, paper newsletters were found to be the most preferred form of communication. I believe this is because people like something tangible which can be read and digested at their leisure. So, our newsletter produced by Ethos public relations should prove very popular!"
Said Julie: "We
may be a generation of Facebookers and bloggers, but it's clear that there is
still a role for a range of communication tools."
Measuring our Environmental Impact
Our Mission says we will consider seriously
environmental issues. We have always recycled paper in the office along with inkjet
cartridges. We recently joined Manchester City Council's Environmental Business
Pledge along with making a commitment to reduce CO2 produced from energy used
in the office. Now we have taken this a stage further. We are going to measure
- and report - on CO2 used in transport. So every time we travel as part of our
work we will convert the miles travelled into CO2 equivalent, after all, we know
that climate change caused by burning fossil fuels is a real problem. We are not
the first business to make this commitment but we might be the first that has
also decided to measure the miles travelled in getting to work too! We want businesses
to realise that employee miles getting to and from work is as important, and as
damaging, as travel during the working day, so we are going to measure both. How's
that for taking an issue seriously?
